Welcome!

Welcome! In honor of your arrival I grant you 6,000 Kimi-bucks.  A currency with no monetary value, but aren't you glad you got it?  Feel free to horde these wonderful symbols of my appreciation or fritter them away on all the loads of nothing they can buy you.  They are yours to do with what you like.

Feel free to store them in this complimentary Kimi-bucks penny pouch as you roam about.  Enjoy your time here.  A few safety tips before I go. Careful where you step as the small critters tend to get underfoot.  Don't forget to use the buddy system; there is safety in numbers.  Always know where your towel is.  And remember, NEVER GO SWIMMING IN MY DREAMS! Here there be sharks.

Pumpkin Carving

This is a sketch of the pumpkin I carved last night at an event at work.  On the side with the hand I tried to do that method where you shave it down really far so the light glows through the wall of the pumpkin but without actually cutting all the way through the pumpkin.  Turns out it I didn't make it thin enough so the light wasn't coming through at all.  But the front section of the pumpkin looked cool.  Pumpkin walls are thick.  Was a lot of fun.

Tristana and Kog'Maw

Above is a sketch of Tristana, a yordle from League of Legends.  Below is Kog'Maw.  Kog'Maw is one of my favorite champions.  I love the way he moves.  He's like a strange, disgusting puppy.  So adorable.  I have a lot of his skins.

30 Second Drawings

A collection of some 30 Second and 45 Second drawings.  I use a site called Posemaniacs.com.  They have a 30 Second option which will show you random poses every 30 seconds (or whatever setting you choose). So I did a bunch of quick sketches to get the basic body pose and then on a few went back and fleshed it out a bit.

Pen Portraits

Some sketches I did on scratch paper at my desk.

Jumping Puzzles

This is a sketch of me and one of my gaming friends.  We played Guild Wars 2 together and one of our favorite things to do in the game were the Jumping Puzzles.  We completed every single Jumping Puzzle in the game (with the exception of a holiday one that isn't available all the time).  I had a Sylvari ranger and I had the special ability where when you fall it creates a giant mud puddle to lessen falling damage by 50%.   The sketch illustrates a common sight with us.  My friend, the warrior, looking down on me where I sit in a mud puddle after missing a jump.

Long-Distance

The problem with long-distance friendships.  Plus hugs are like one of the best things in the world and they don't work through the internet. Sad face.

Mermaid and Sea Dragon Reborn

When I was in middle school I was very excited to submit an entry in to a sci-fi art/writing contest.  I did a drawing of a mermaid with a sea dragon and sent it off to this contest.  Sadly I didn't win (for good reason).  I received an Honorable Mention and they posted my drawing online.  Years later I Googled myself and found the drawing I did, saved on the internet for all to see.  I did the above drawing to redeem myself in my own eyes.  And below is the drawing I did in middle school that I was so proud of.  Now it makes me cringe.

Counter Strike: Psyduck

Some paintings I have done in honor of one of my friends and our time playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive.  For as long as I've known him, his skype picture was Psyduck from Pokemon.  So Psyduck has become synonymous with him in my mind.

Elephants

A painting of some adorable elephant key chains I bought at the Como Zoo.  They are the most adorable little elephant key chains I have ever seen.  I tried to find a picture of them online to send to a friend to show off but I couldn't find them.  So I painted them.  And as you can see I misspelled "Elephants".  How cute.

Enchantress

A sketch of a faerie sorceress.  She is a mix of Angelina Jolie's Maleficent and a character from a book I read a few years ago with a character who had tattoos across his entire body which channeled his magic.

Exploring Facial Styles

Some sketches exploring different face styles, eye styles, head shapes and expressions.  The sketch with head shapes includes quick portraits of myself and my husband.  My inspiration for the last one was the actress Hilarie Burton.  She plays Sara Ellis in White Collar.  She is so beautiful.

Snowmen, Geckos, and Lightbulbs

A collection of sketches.  I really want this girl's dress down below.  And her boots.  And the snowman's scarf looks comfy.

Dream Locations

Another common theme in my dreams are bizarre locations.  Here are a collection of thumbnails of some of the locations in my dreams.  Some of these even tied in with my shark thing as well.  For instance, thumbnail 4 turned out to not be a very safe location for everyone living there.  Especially during storms.

Batman Beyond: Inque

Above is a sketch of Inque from Batman Beyond.  She is one of my favorite Batman villians along with Harley Quinn.  Below are some random sketches, including Ariel from My Little Mermaid, Wonder Woman, and my pirate costume from Halloween last year.

Nidalee and the New Year

Day 365 of my Daily Drawings.  Celebrated the day with a sketch of Nidalee lounging against a tree.  Nidalee is one of my favorite champions in League of Legends.  I'm not very good at her, sadly but I keep coming back to her.  I love skill shots and the allure of her long range spear is strong.  However I am pretty bad at nearly all melee champions and a good Nidalee is master of her cat form as well.

Sharks!

One of the most common recurring themes in my dreams is sharks.  Sharks and crocodiles and a variety of aquatic killers.  Never go swimming in my dreams.  Here there be sharks.

More Mermaids

More mermaids!

Mermaids and Dragonflies

A collection of sketches.
