Colored Superhero

Here is my colored version of my superhero.  I will have the card completed by Tuesday.  I'll post it when I'm done.  The front is almost done, I just need to add a background.  The back of the card has not yet begun.  Very exciting to see it coming together.

Here is the finished inking for my superhero, Bad Loaf. 

This is for Bryan Ballinger's Inspirational Design class.  We're gonna have a FistiCuffs tournament against the other class.  I'll post the finished version soon.  Below are the main steps to get to this point.

This is my third lighting practice.  It's a little weird trying to find the right colors for desert plants because they're green, but not really.  This is a pic of somewhere in Arizona, my home state. :)

This was a painting to practice lighting.  I'll be doing some more of these.  I want to get faster.  This one took me like 45 minutes.  I want to get to the point where it takes me like 10-20 minutes.

Scribble Style

A sketch of a fairy.  This was attempt at a different style of art based off of Roger Cruz's most recent style.  He obviously does it better.  But this was fun.

Here's the painted version.  I tried out a new brush and it was surprisingly fun. :)
